There are 365 days in 2014

I am not one for New Year’s resolutions. It sets a tone for the whole year. And if you don’t succeed, you feel bad. Sure, I’ve made them before, “Oh, I’m going to exercise more, eat better, and volunteer at a charity!” I would start out with good intentions, might even do it for a month or two, and then the momentum gets lost and I would fail. Sound familiar?

When we fail we become discouraged and we don’t try again. It was our New Year’s resolution, it didn’t work, and we don’t need to try again until next year.

I think that every day, every moment is a chance to make a resolution. And, if it doesn’t work out, the next day is a chance to start again – there are 365 days in 2014. 365 days to make a change. I think that’s one of the beauties of life – you have a chance to evolve everyday.
